Background: The FITC Labeling Kit provides all the reagents required for labeling, which can label proteins containing primary amino-group ((-NH 2) molecules simply and effectively.
Principle of the Assay: Within a certain pH range, FITC specifically reacts with primary amino groups (N -terminal and lysine residue sid e chains) to form a stable thiourea bond, so as to realize the coupling of FITC with protein.
