Recombinant Human NF-L/NEFL Protein is produced by E coli expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Ser60-Thr250) of human NF-L/NEFL (Accession #NP_006149.2) fused with a additional amino acid free.
Background: Neurofilaments usually contain three intermediate filament proteins: NEFL, NEFM, and NEFH which are involved in the maintenance of neuronal caliber. Mayadditionally cooperate with the neuronal intermediate filament proteins PRPH and INA to form neuronal filamentous networks (By similarity).
