Description: HLA-G Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 309 amino acids (25-308 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 35.3kDa. HLA-G is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Introductions: HLA-G (Major Histocompatibility Complex Class I G) is a member of the HLA class I heavy chain paralogues. This class I molecule is a heterodimer which comprises a heavy chain as well as a light chain, beta-2 microglobulin, while the heavy chain is fixed in the membrane. HLA-G is expressed on fetal derived placental cells. HLA-G is a non-classical class-I HLA molecule linked with immuno-modulatory & anti-inflammatory properties which interacts with inhibitory receptors such as, ILT2/ILT4/KIR2DL4, that are present on different immune cells. HLA-G inhibits the proliferation of T cells, B cells & natural killer cells, moreover it also induces regulatory T cells.
