Introduction: Dsb proteins (DsbA, DsbB, DsbC, and DsbD) catalyze formation and isomerization of protein disulfide bonds in the periplasm of Escherichia coli. DsbC is periplasmic enzyme known as a disulfide isomerase and can convert aberrant disulfide bonds to correct ones.
