Description: LCMT1 Human Recombinant produced in E Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 358 amino acids (1-334) and having a molecular mass of 41kDa.LCMT1 is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Introduction: LCMT1 is a member of the LCMT family, methyltransferase superfamily. LCMT1 catalyzes the methylation of the carboxyl group of the C-terminal leucine residue (leu309) of the catalytic subunit of protein phosphatase-2A to form alpha-leucine ester residues.
