Description: SFRP2 Human Recombinant produced in E Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 297 amino acids (20-295 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 33.8kDa.SFRP2 is fused to a 21 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Introduction: Secreted frizzled-related protein 2 (SFRP2) belongs to the SFRP family which contains a cysteine-rich domain homologous to the putative Wnt-binding site of Frizzled proteins. SFRP2 function as soluble modulators of Wnt signaling. Methylation of SFRP2 is a possible marker for the existence of colorectal cancer.
