Description: Protein A is the component of the cytoderm of staphylococcus aureus. It was regarded as a kind of broad spectrum secondary antibody, because it can bind Fc fragments of a majority of immunoglobulins. It can react with guinea pig, rabbit globulin and human IgG1, 2, 4 strongly and react with mouse, bovine globulin and human IgA,E,M weakly.
