1. Phenylmethylsulfonyl fluoride, also called PMSF, its molecular formula is C7H7FO2S with 174.19 molecular weight.
2. PMSF is a kind of biochemical reagent for common use. With high purity (>99%), it can be used for inhibiting serine kind protease irreversibly, eg: trypsase, chymotrypsin, callicrein, subtilisin and thrombin. It also can be used for inhibiting homocysteine protease-papain.
3. For use this product, add one tube of PMSF crystal into PMSF solution and mix thoroughly, that is 10 ml of 100 mM PMSF.
