Feline leukemia virus (FLv) is one of the most deadly infections to affect domestic felines. Thevirus causes profound suppression of the cat’s immune system. In addition, the virus can transformhealthy lymphoid cells into malignant cancerous cells. Infected cats to readily shed and transmitFeLV through saliva and from a mother cat to her kittens.
