- Peroxidase enzyme system is routinely used in Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Immunocytochemistry (ICC). This Peroxidase Enhancing system increases the level of sensitivity in peroxidase based chromogens (AEC and DAB). This product is used prior to addition of chromogens. We recommend our aqueous mounting medium (ImmunoHistoMount (IHM), cat # AR-6503) for mounting of AEC (counterstain hematoxylin). For DAB (counterstain hematoxylin) either aqueous mounting medium (IHM, AR-6503) or organic mounting medium (Organo/limonene mounting medium, AR-6504) or equivalent can be used
