The polyclonal CLDN14 antibody is raised in rabbits against the recombinanthuman CLDN14 protein (140-239AA). It occurs as an unconjugated IgG. Itunderwent antigen affinity purified. And it shows reactivity with CLDN14 ofhuman-, mouse-, and rat-origin. The target protein CLDN14 is important for thephysiology of cochlear hair cells in the inner ear. Studies found thatdysregulation of the renal CaSR-CLDN14 pathway could contribute significantlyto the development of hypercalciuria, and hence the generation of kidney stonesand osteoporosis. This anti-CLDN14 antibody can be used to recognize theCLDN14 protein in ELISA, WB, and IHC applications.
