The pooled antisera were raised in rabbits which were immunized with Met5-enkephalin covalently attached onto a carrier protein. This antibody is specific for Met5-enkephalin and is suitable for use in histochemical preparations of tissues or cells. The antibody has been characterized by RIA, ELISA and immunocytochemical techniques. Dilute the lyophilized antisera with 0.1 ml of 10 mg/ml BSA in PBS for the equivalent concentration of IgG in the whole antisera or with additional buffer for more dilute antibody.
