Chickens were immunized with purified recombinant protein G. Eggs were collected and an IgY fraction was prepared. The resulting fraction was passed over an antigen containing immunoabsorbant from which the anti-Protein G antibodies were immunoaffinity purified. Purification was followed by conjugation with horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
