This cell surface antigen is known also as TAC antigen. It is expressed on T-cells and B-cells following cell activation by antigens. An old designation for the murine counterpart is Ly43. The rat antigen is OX39. CD25 is identical with IL2RA, which is the approved gene symbol. It is called also T- cell growth factor receptor (TCGFR)
