Recombinant SLT-1B is derived from E.coli O157:H7 Shiga-like toxin 1 subunit B sequence, subunit B has non toxic action, it is a functional region to bind to receptor. SLT-1B contains amino acid from 2 to 90 of Shiga-like toxin 1 subunit B, it forms a pentamer binding to host cell receptor. It can be used for vaccine study, antibody test and functional research. It was expressed and purified form E.coli, a 6xhis tag was attached and its N-terminus.
