Recombinant SLT-2B is derived from E.coli O:157:H7 Shiga-like toxin 2 subunit B sequence, subunit B has non toxic action, it is a functional region to bind to receptor. SLT-2B contains full amino acids of Shiga-like toxin 2 subunit B, SLT-2B subunit usually forms a pentamer binding host cell receptor. It can be used for vaccine study, antibody test and functional research. It was expressed and purified from E.coli, a 6xhis tag was attached at it's N-terminus. This recombinant protein mimics natural protein status forming trimer status.
