- 背景资料：
- Double C2-like domain-containing protein beta or Doc2b is encoded by the gene DOC2b. Doc2b functions as a calcium sensor which positively regulates soluble NSF attachment receptor (SNARE) dependent fusion of vesicles with membranes. Doc2b binds phospholipids and may act at the priming stage of membrane fusion by modifying membrane curvature to stimulate fusion.
