特异性:This antibody reacts with human C reactive protein, which is a pentameric protein found in blood plasma. It is an acute phase reactive protein of hepatic origin. It is an important defense molecule for the body and its plasma concentration increases sharply during tissue damage, inflammation and bacterial infection. It promotes agglutination, bacterial capsular swelling, phagocytosis and complement fixation through its calcium-dependent binding to phosphorylcholine. It can interact with DNA and histones and may scavenge nuclear material released from damaged circulating cells.
