DESCRIPTION: Mouse monoclonal anti-type IX collagen antibody, unconjugated
APPLICATION: Use for immunohistochemistry, immunoblotting and ELISA
QUANTITY: 100 mL, 1 mg/mL
FORM: A cocktail of 2 monoclonal antibodies, clone D1-9 (IgG1) and B3-1 (IgG2b), recognizing the conserved epitopes on the low molecular weight fragment of type IX collagen from different species of animals.
SOURCE: Mouse
CROSS-REACTIVITY: Cross-reacts to most species of type IX collagen such as human, bovine, rat and mouse, and by 50% with chick type IX collagen by ELISA. Both clones react with the native and denatured form of type IX collagen.
USAGE: Dilute the antibody in buffer containing 2% heterologous serum, such as NGS, to prevent non-specific reactions in ELISA, tissue staining or immunoblotting. Use 0.1-1 mg/mL.
